1. Overview
Welcome to The Goodie Crate UK. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before ordering.
2. Our products
Each crate is curated with artisan products from independent UK makers. Contents may vary due to product availability or seasonality. Photos are representative but not exact.
3. Orders and payment
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
- We do not store card details.
- Orders are confirmed once payment is completed.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email after ordering.
4. Pricing and delivery
- Prices include VAT where applicable.
- Delivery fees are shown at checkout and vary by location and crate size.
- We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.
- Delivery times are estimates; delays may occur during peak seasons.
5. Returns and refunds
Because each crate is made to order and includes perishable or personal items, we can’t accept returns unless your crate arrives damaged or incomplete. Please see our Returns & Refund Policy for more details.
If something isn’t right, please contact us at hello@thegoodiecrate.com within 7 days, and we’ll do our best to resolve it fairly.
6. Subscriptions and recurring payments
If you sign up for recurring deliveries, you’ll be billed via Stripe at the agreed interval. You can cancel future renewals anytime before your next billing date.
7. Personalisation
If you provide taste preferences or other personalisation info, we’ll use it solely to select suitable products for you. Preferences do not guarantee exact product matches.
8. Liability
We’re responsible for providing your crate as described, but we can’t be held liable for delays or issues outside our control (e.g. courier delays or supplier shortages).
Our total liability is limited to the value of your order.
9. Shipping Policy
Delivery Times
We aim to ship crates promptly, especially for seasonal orders like Christmas.
Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
Possible Delays
- Courier issues (weather, traffic, staffing)
- Supplier or stock shortages
- Public holidays or peak seasons
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses provided by the customer
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees (if applicable) are displayed at checkout.
Some crates include free shipping; please check each product description.
Tracking
When available, tracking information will be provided through the tracking page and via email once your crate has been dispatched.
We are not liable for courier delays once a crate has been handed over to the shipping provider.
Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure your delivery address is correct and complete.
- Please notify us promptly if your delivery address changes after placing an order.
Liability
The Goodie Crate UK is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or external events beyond our control.
In case of lost or damaged parcels, we will do our best to assist, but liability is limited to the value of the order and shipping fees.
10. Intellectual property
All website content, images, and branding of The Goodie Crate UK remain our property and may not be used without permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by UK courts.
