Returns & Refund Policy

1. Overview
At The Goodie Crate UK, we take pride in carefully curating and packing each crate with artisan products made by independent UK makers.
Because of the nature of our products — many of which are perishable or made to order — we can’t accept standard returns. However, if there’s a problem with your order, we’ll always do our best to make it right.
2. Damaged or incorrect items
If your crate or any of its items arrive damaged, incomplete, or not as described, please email us at hello@thegoodiecrate.com within 7 days of delivery.
To help us investigate quickly, please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos of the affected item(s) and packaging (if applicable)
We’ll review the issue and, if appropriate, offer one of the following:
- A replacement item
- A partial refund
- A full refund (including shipping, if applicable)
3. Perishable and personalised products
We’re unable to accept returns for:
- Perishable goods such as food and drink
- Customised or personalised crates (based on taste profiles or preferences)
This is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exclude these items from the usual 14-day cooling-off period.
4. Cancelling your order
If you change your mind before your crate has been prepared or shipped, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@thegoodiecrate.com.
If your order hasn’t been processed yet, we’ll issue a full refund immediately.
Once the crate has been packed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
5. Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed through Stripe (our payment partner) to your original payment method.
Refunds are typically received within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
6. Subscription orders
If you have a recurring subscription, you can cancel anytime before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next month’s crate.
Simply email hello@thegoodiecrate.com, and we’ll confirm the cancellation in writing.
